There are two natural forms of vitamin K: vitamin K₁ and vitamin K₂. Vitamin K₁ is derived from plants and is primarily found in the Western diet from green leafy vegetables such as spinach, kale, and broccoli. In contrast, vitamin K₂ is animal-derived and is found in small amounts from foods such as liver, certain cheeses, and other fermented foods, including natto food, made from fermented soybeans. Vitamin K₂ can also be made by intestinal bacteria. Nature Made Vitamin K₂ is naturally derived from the same microorganism present in natto food.

Consider complimenting with one of Nature Made’s many calcium, vitamin D and magnesium products, since adequate levels of these nutrients are important to help support healthy bones.
